About Bistro Le Bouchot
Getting to know really good mussels: that is what you do in the former fisherman’s town Berck-sur-Mer. Where knowledge about preparing the tasty Bouchot mussels comes together with the hospitality of this touristy coastal town.
The name of our bistro is a reference to the Bouchot mussel; a delicacy that is grown near us at the coast on wooden stakes called Bouchots. The Bouchot mussels have a unique taste and texture. They are small and generously filled. Because the mussels are attached to the Bouchots, they are not exposed to the muddy bottom of the sea and are very clean and free of sand. The Bouchot mussel is not always under water, which means that they grow more slowly and have a more concentrated taste. A high-quality sea fruit with a salty, fresh, and sweet taste. This traditional specialty from the region is served in our bistro during the mussel season.

About our bistro
Bistro Le Bouchot is furnished warmly and cozily. The waves of the sea and the soft colors of the sand beach come back in our interior. Settle down on the terrace or inside of the bistro with a number of seating areas: from comfortable lounge sofas to high bar tables.
